83F, S 10 mph.  Somewhere around an 8:15 avg mile, forgot to look, but it took 2:03-something.  Felt more like a 7:15 effort anyway.

Not sure what the deal was, but my legs were dead today.  Normally I can get going after 3 or 4 miles but not really today.  Just felt slow and tired the whole time.  As an added bonus I feel like I ran 20 instead of 15.  Yuck.

I'm trying to get myself ready for a Pfitzinger plan that I'll start in September, and he has a lot of MLRs on the schedule.  Hopefully today was just an off day, and not me trying to over-reach with mileage.

Oh good....you are normal and have some (what you call) an off day. I wouldn't call 8:15 ave off day, that would be an amazing day for me.

Not sure why your legs were dead? You run a million miles a week. I am glad they seem tired for you once in a while! :)

We discussed OFF days today while we were running. Everyone has them, it happens! Sorry you had to slog through it, BUT YOU DID!!!! 8:15 pace is not bad at all for 15 miles, so you slogged through it WELL.

83 degrees is a lot for a long run. Some runs are just like that though...no oomph in the legs.I wouldn't worry about it unless the feeling persists for more and more runs.

With any luck it WILL get cooler sometime this fall.

Thanks all, I think I was starting to get sick - I felt bad on Saturday. So I will blame it 100% on that, and 0% on me being a wuss.
