78F, 87%.  8:05 AP.  Drove into Houston yesterday, so this was from my parent's house, around the bayou trail and a loop of Memorial park.  They've done a lot of good work on the Bayou trail though the underpasses still reek of urine.

Anyway, a hot, sticky run - almost felt like I bonked at the end.  I was hoping it would rain, and then it did...about 5 minutes before I got home.  Houston...a pee-soaked sauna.

76F, 98%.  8:04 AP.  Last sweat slog in Houston, headed back to SA in a couple hours.  I only brought 1 pair of running shoes and they were still soaked from yesterday.  Eewwwww.

AM:  79F, 85%.  11 @ 7:58 AP.  No decent running days this week, but I tried to do my 13 w/8 @ AT anyway.  It turned into 11 w/2.  The 2 tempo miles were about 7:20 each.  Once I got a side cramp, after not being able to even approach 7:00 pace, I just said screw it and slogged back.  If I didn't have to be at work, I probably would've walked the last 4 miles to my car.

PM:  4 TM

AM:  75F, 98%.  6 @ 8:37 AP.  Dutifully slogging away.  I'm dependent on caffeine pills to get through every run now.  Can't quit, even after watching this important Saved by the Bell clip.

PM:  4 TM with vicious strides

AM:  76F, 94%.  8 @ 7:45 AP.  Pouring rain for the first 3-4 miles!  It was great.  I had the trail to myself too; I saw one other runner but he was sheltering under a little pavilion.  A city of sugar cookies, can't get wet!

PM:  nope, ran out of time.
